HELLO!

Here are the Missions With Others Project Assignments. Please look for your name to see where you have been assigned. Those painting will want some old clothes. Bakers may want aprons. Cleaners may want some gloves. Servers bring a great smile and a good attitude so you can brighten some ones day. Each of you will have some contact with your centers clients so it won’t just be all work and no enjoyment.

Be down stairs and ready to board the bus at 9:30 AM on Wednesday. We will pick you up from your work center at approximately 2 PM.

We will walk to our Bearno’s dinner of pizza, pasta, salad and drink. Be down stairs and ready to leave at 4:45 PM. That will give you over 2 hours to get cleaned up and pretty. We will go to the evening’s activities directly from dinner.

Project Assignments

 

 

Schedule

Your youth group may pick which location they wish to load and disembark at. You will just need to let me know so our District Sponsors can account for everyone.

Each person is limited to one large suitcase and one carry one. This does not include your diaper bag with supplies.

Our schedule is as follows:

Tuesday July 5

· 5 AM Bus Loading in Pierpont COTN (Morgantown) Parking Lot. Our bus will be full so expect to share a seat.

· 7:30 AM Bus Loading in Broadway COTN (Parkersburg) Parking Lot. Our mission supplies will be in bins in the church and will also need to be loaded on the bus.

· 2 PM Arrive in Louisville. Check into Galt House.

· 3:30 PM Brad and Jael will go and do final registration for everyone.

· 3:30 PM The rest of you will deliver and organize our Bundles of Hope Items (diaper bags, etc.) in Hall 1AB at the convention center.

· 6:15 PM Load the bus for the evening’s Regional Event.

· 6:30 PM till 10:30 PM - Picnic and Surprise at a local COTN.

Wednesday July 6

· 12:30 AM Curfew – You must be in your room. This is every night not just tonight!

· 1:00 AM – Lights Out! This is every night not just tonight!

· 7:30 AM till 8:30 AM – Breakfast at the Hotel.

· 9:00 AM till 3 PM – Ministry with Others Projects – See Separate Assignments.

· 5 PM – Dinner Buffet at Bearno’s Pizza – 133 West Main Street – Walking Distance from Galt House.

· 7 PM till 11:30 PM - NYC Session #1 at the KFC Yum! Center.

Thursday July 7

· 12:30 AM Curfew – You must be in your room. This is every night not just tonight!

· 1:00 AM – Lights Out! This is every night not just tonight!

· This is the day of our group photo so wear your District T-Shirt.

· 8:00am-9:00am Breakfast in hotel.

· 9:30am-11:00am Session #2

· 11:00am-12:00pm Group photo front of arena on steps

· 12:00pm-1:00pm Lunch Group A - Exhibit Hall Group B (1/2 regions)

· 10 am-3:00pm – The Zoo. Everyone will be given a ticket for the zip line, climbing wall and the sky trail. Be on time for the bus at 10 and at 3. You will be given spending money for lunch.

· 3:00pm-5:30pm Exhibit Hall open

· 5:00pm-6:30pm Dinner (meal card in Arena)

· 7:00pm-9:00pm Session #6

· 9:30pm-11:30pm Concert in Arena

Sunday 10 July

· 12:30 AM Curfew – You must be in your room. This is every night not just tonight!

· 1:00 AM – Lights Out! This is every night not just tonight!

· 8:00am-9:00am Breakfast in hotel.

· 10:00am-12:00pm Session #7

· 12:00pm Session Ends – Get your lunch and bring it back to the hotel to eat on the bus trip home. Use up any remaining funds on your arena meal card.

· 1:00 PM – Bus Leaves Promptly! You must have your luggage loaded and be in your seat by this time.

· 6:00 PM – Bus arrives Broadway COTN Parking Lot.

· 8:30 PM – Bus arrives Pierpont COTN Parking Lot.

I am sending this to all Pastors and Adults I have in my address book.  Some of you may get this message more than once and for that I apologize.  I just want to get this information out to as many of you as possible.  Please pass it on to as many people as possible.  I want to see as many of the youth of our district get to NYC!  I will also ask that this update be posted on the www.WVNNYI.com website.
 
All of you who want to go to NYC are getting a break.  If you get all of your paper work to me so I can have the electronic submission done by 12/3 you will still get the early bird price of $450.00.  You will have to complete your online application and pay the $450.00 by December 17rh.  So be sure and answer your email invitation as soon as you receive it.
