We are excited about the plans that are underway for Singspiration 2010.  On the following pages you will find registration forms for both students and chaperones and all the information you will need to plan for a wonderful experience August 7^th & 8^th in Summersville.  Please note that we will begin rehearsals earlier on Saturday than in the past.

Advance registration is required so we have an idea how many students are planning on eating in the cafeteria and how much music is needed.   Advance registration must be postmarked no later than Monday, August 2^nd to ensure they arrive to the director in time.  If you do not register until the day of Singspiration, you will have to pay a $5.00 late fee.

*Another change for this year is that solo auditions will take place during registration.  Any student that would like to audition for a solo will need to meet in the tabernacle between 9:00 and 9:45 AM on Saturday, August 7^th.

9:00 – 10:00 AM – Registration and solo auditions
10:00 AM – Noon – First rehearsal
Noon – 1:00 PM – Lunch
1:00 – 3:00 PM – Second Rehearsal
3:00 – 3:30 PM – Break
3:30 – 5:00 PM – Third Rehearsal
5:00 – 6:30 PM – Dinner
6:30 – 9:00 PM – Last Rehearsal
11:00 PM – Curfew

Housing:  Every church is required to provide one adult chaperone for every 1—7 students staying in each (boys/girls) dorm.  

*Adult chaperones must have a background check submitted to the District Office prior to Singspiration.    Students staying in private cabins are not allowed in the dorms past curfew.

Dress Code:  Singspiration participants will be expected to follow the same dress code as set forth by the camp for rehearsals.  Dress for the Singspiration service is as follows:

Boys:   slacks or nice jeans (no shorts)
           shirt (with no large logos or advertising)

Girls:  Dress, skirt/blouse or pants/blouse (no shorts)          Dresses and skirts need to be modest in length  
          (remember you will be on a raised platform). 
          Please no strapless dresses or spaghetti straps
          unless you wear a jacket over your dress.
